HEY GUYS! This is my very first indoor grow. I am going to grow 1, or 2 max. I was hoping to put the pot in my downstairs shower, wich is being unused. I will haev a 200 WATT cfl light, located on a timer, and i will have a fan going near it all all times.

Below i have drawn a diagagram of what i was hoping to do. Give me your opinion? do you think this set up will work? Do you have any suggestions for my grow setup? remember i am tight on cash so i cannot spend that much more money. Thanks any help would be appreciated!

my opinion, is that you should do atleast 4... i mean like i told my buddy, doing one or TWO isnt really worth the effort,time,expenses,heating bills. etc.. but i mean if you have enough room do it up! but if thats all you think you can fit maybe you can use smaller pots and maximize your space.. other than that its a good setup.. fan might have to be moved out a bit but it seems ok for a diagram

If i decided to do more, would that mean i would have to buy more bulbs, or can i stick with my 200 watt cfl?

You need a couple more of those anyways. For what your trying to do you should germinate more than your going to use (say 10) and than sex them. You only want the best females out of these. You'll want all the lights you can afford of that wattage close as you can to all your plants. Use 3 gallons pots or even milk jugs if you have to. Just remember 3 gallons is the least weed needs. But can and have grown in a 1 gallon. Your personal preference for the health of your plants will overcome money issues and you'll gather more and more things you'll need in the future. As soon as you know they are female (research if you don't know via google) your going to want to cut the lights back to a strict 12/12 on/off. I believe it might take a little longer than say it would me till harvest. So you might consider raising the light quality and providing basic nutes at half strength every other time you water ( with a good drench inbetween).

definitely gunna need more cfls. or consider investing in something like a MH or HPS setup. if you check craigslist in your area you may be able to find a setup for what it will cost you to go out and buy all the cfl fixtures and bulbs. I found one on my Craigslist the other day for $45 obo. didnt buy it cause i already have a setup, but just saying... thats a really good deal.

if you can grow in a tub -- then go for a hps 100%, if oyu can use both mh and hps one for flowering 1 for veg,


will you be using this tub for a regular tub? or jsut a grow room?...

with this set up i keep seeing (in my mind) someone by accident turning on the shower sounds stupid but still can happen especially when ur usta goin to the bathroom and turning on the shower ..... no closets open ?? or how bout the whole bathroom , lights under a shower i dont think is a good idea

a lot of people have extra bathrooms. like ones they dont use at all for showering. so its quite possible this is going to be an extra bathroom. but that would really suck if the shower got turned on. talk about "shocking" lol.
