Question about SCROG

I am flowering 1 week after clones take root. Is SCROG even worth it with a 8 week flowering time and a 9 1/2 week overall life?

You need to veg them longer and weave them in the screen or it is going to be a waste of time.

Agreed veg them till the screen is almost full then 12/12 them and continue filling the screen. By harvest all holes should be filled and many a buds can be smoked.

hey man... i have read allot of posts about scrog and allot of peoples grow journals.. and it seems that the best way is to flower when they are 8 to 12 inches tall.. i would put the net like 11 inches up and flower when tho tops come up about an inch above the net... then you start training it... the plant will go into a growth spurt cause it thinks its too short to flower... that spurt is enough to fill in your net ... especially if you were topping and designing your plant in the veg state in order to produce more branches... check out my grow and relax.. you'll do fine... people that do longer vegging under a scrog end up with more salad than buds...

When I go from clone to flower the most they get is 20 inches. Now I am 2 weeks into flowering and they are 9 inches and in the next 10 to 15 days is when I start seeing little buds. So I have read your journal and if I can get a decent net system and a new way to water (12 plants ia a big akward cabinet) . Then Ill give it a shot there is just no mving them from the monster cab I biult once I put the screen on.

3 rd week flowering!
Ok the plants are filling the screen the tops seem to have a few leaves. Should I get rid of the leaves at the top of the colas or the leaves above the screen or none?

people say that you should not cut anything during the flowering stage....

I push the leaves down (or pull from the bottom)... dont cut nothing if you cAn.... and just puch them under the net
