| | worried about fire | | Hi,
I have a spot set up and I have the seeds although....
I have a highpowered extractor fan, a 400 watt fluro light, osilating fan, air freshners and a normal room light running off one power socket.
I am very worried that it will start a fire.
Can anyone re/deassure me?
oh btw, im very sorry if this topic has already been posted.
cheers
Many thanks, tom |

Many thanks, tom | by "normal room light" do you mean an incandescent? if so, take that shit out. you are better off without it. they put out way too much heat and don't give off any light the plant can use. if you didn't mean incandescent, well then carry on good sir, carry on.

| | Forgive my ignorance, but what's a surge protector going to do to stop a fire from happening? Isn't that just for stopping a lightning strike from frying your electronics? |

These can protect from current surges due to the operation a protector circuit (see Crowbar Circuits), or due to the failure of some other component. Fire protection is the most common purpose of these devices." - wikipedia
btw, the incadescent is in another room, but off the same socket.
thanks
