hey guys got a question to rap ya brains,i got a little 2 by 4half room,its hard keepin the temps down,wat ya rkn i wanna put sum glass betwwen the light and my girls,now i got a exhaust fan on top so ya rkn the glass would with stand the heat from a 400 hps? or ya rkn it would get to hot and break? tryin to stay away from the Big cost of temperd glass,it just a idea,bloody work brilliant if the glass can handle the heat i rkn ,cheers guys

Needs to be tempered glass. If it regular glass temps in the 150 range will shatter it or even easier if moisture or mist from sprays or watering touch it. It will be like a shrapnel spray of glass.

hmmm yer i might ay,i can get the glass tomoza 4mm thick,hmm maybe i should get 5mm lol

the 400hps heat up a fair bit ay aww i dunno,pretty risky

5mm but if it doesnt work get a 4mm too.

If you get glass just ask if its tempered lot of homedepots sell it and I know most hydro shops have the right glass.you might be able to add 1/4 plexiglass under the glass as protection
