Okay, so I'm planing on a grow in my Xbox 360 box that it came in. I have 12.5in of vertical grow space. I coated all walls with aluminum foil I'm gonna use the perfect size planter (an old plastic cookie box thing). The planter doesn't have that much vertical soil space but takes up the whole bottom of the box (about 12in x 7in). The planter is about 5in high so i have MAX 7 in of vertical grow space I'm planning on using one 125W equivalent CFL (possibly two if you guys think i should), taking apart an old lamp for just the screw-in socket thing. This will be my first grow
Basically it's about 12in x 7in x 12.5in
So my questions are are:

1) Do you think it'll work at all?
2) What kinda harvest should i expect?
3) Anti-Smell Ideas?
4) How many plants could fit in a planter of 12in x 7in x 5in? (i guess max of 2 but dunno if 1 would be better for roots, light, ect.)
5) What hight should i start flowering at? Trimming? Topping? i need more info on that!

sounds interesting i am going to continue to watch this thread pease post pics as you go i know alot of people are going to be asking you to so.

I highly advise against this opperation of yours. For one that is way to small. For two it is your first grow. Even if you knew what you were doing with the plants the mechanics behind creating a grow space of such size is way too difficult even for experienced individuals. On top of that, even if you do accomplish it, you won't get any harvest size that is even worth your time.

That being said, your 12x7x12 inch box (minus the space for the pot becomes 7x12x7) has to house the light and all ventilation. You will have NO room for the plant at all. It can't be done. Sorry man.

I agree with specialkayme. It's not going to work, nor is it going to be worth the effort of trying to keep it a secret from your parents.

You will get one little tiny nug hardly enough to smoke yet alone feel any effects from

get rid of the foil... keep the light 1 inch at the most from the plant at all times, flower when you have like 5 nodes it should only be about 3 inches tall, or get clones and go right to flower...

Very impressive primeralives, mind giving us some detail on exactly how you did that and how long it took?

veged for about 2 weeks in peat cups (the small ones, keeping the roots bound up helps keep them small), i keep the light (6500k cfls) very close to keep them short flowered and transplanted at 5 or 6 nodes ( 3inches) then flowered for 6 weeks. the strain was bc bud depot "sweet tooth"
