many other factors to consider but a good grower should look to get 0.5-0.6 grams per watt of light used. So you should be aiming realistically for between 100 and 125 grams total but like I said there are sooooo many other factors!good luck

I will be able to let you know in about 4 weeks. I am growing with a 250w. I have 5 plants in a vertical grow setup. But like woomeister said, You should be able to get .5-1.0 grams per watt. There is a lot of ways to grow and increase your yield. I think that vertical grows allow you to get more off of one light. But this is only my second grow and my first grow was with cfls. So i cant really say how much i can get until i get a few more grows under my belt and get everything down to a science. LOL Good Luck

had almost 1/2 pound out of 4 plants. drain and fill...

That sounds real good. Do you happen to have any pics of the plants or just the grow room you used and how you had it setup. I would love to get a harvest that big off of my 250w hps. I also have another 250w that i have not used yet so i could maybe incorporate it into the mix and maybe get close to 1/2 pound harvests. That sounds a little high for just one 250w light but i guess anything is possible. Good Job. I hope you have pics.

More watts will only increase your yield if you have enough plants to cover the whole area. I guess it might help with the 4 you have but they are probably getting all they need from the first one.

Make sure you add more air circulation in your room to acount for the extra heat if you do infact use the other one.

If you are talkin to me, I already have enough air circulation to handle the other light. Plus i would just use the light in another cooltube and daisy chain them to the exhaust fan. Plus i am only using half of the available space in the room. I am not going to add the other light to this grow because i want to know how much i can get off of one light so i can then set up the other light and put the right amount of plants around it so i can have both going and get a harvest every month. But i want to get it down real good with one light so i can maximize the electricity that i will use. If you understand me. Plus here is a couple pics of my setup. And of one of my plants. Keep in mind there is some things that i will be changing in the room soon so please keep the comments on things that need changed. I already know what i need to fix. These are just so you can see how i have the light setup and the plant arrangements. Thanks.

if you veg for 4weeks and do everything well,then you should probably get a few
+ ounces off each plant,,,,but noone can give you a definate answer,,,,,,,,peace
