Im in the process of building my room the wall frames are up i just need to drywall and paint..

I need help with exhaust and cooling methods. I will have 4 tables about 4.5'x5' ea. housing plants of diff life cycles.. each table will have 1000W light. And i will also have a table for my mothers with a 400W or 600W MH light. each table will have a fan blowing across the top of the plants.

My question is.... Should I attatch lines to the individual lights? or should i do one outtake system from the room itself? my concern is smell and heat (the exchange of hot air to fresh). Where does a carbon filter come into play here?

The carbon filter would go on your exhaust to filter the smell before it went out. You should have one intake coming in with fresh air and then the hot air exhaust (with carbon filter) on the other side of the room, thereby moving the hot air out, and the fresh air in.

so im basically going to need two lines visible from the outside of the room....because they wont fit above the cieling.. it will need to scale the headers instead.

and with larger grows isnt it essential to have nitrogen added to the air? does it matter where it is in the room in relation to the plants?

Ya, you'll need one exhaust and one intake. You would want the fresh air coming in on the opposite side as the exhaust that way the fresh air gets pulled across the room on its way to the exhaust.

Oh i'm not jealous, my grows are 4x your size ....
I just hate to see one huge disaster happen, cause I once did that a long time ago. It was so sad I even cryed.

This is the plan for my space...

SOG grow...

-4 tables; each has a diff stage of growth.

-6 mothers against the left wall with a 600W MH.

-Shelving or tower for clones (adjacent to the
mothers)

-Each table will have a 1000W HPS or MH depending on which table.(orange boxes)

-In the corners of the table are wall fans (white ovals)

-Ventilation and odor parts (RED) red box to the right wall is the carbon filter.

-Black box to the bottom left is where my CO2 will be.

Any suggestions let me know.

the room is framed out i just need to put it all together.
