For those of you who have built rooms in the past...
*How much did it cost in terms of lumber, hardware, sheet rock?

*How long did it take to build?

y not just paint walls white? no need to drywall and u can anchor into the wall with tap cons and make support brackets....could be done on the cheap for under 50$

the basement is big and i need to enclose the area because the oil burner is down there... incase it needs to be looked at. so i need to put up those 13.5'x10.5' walls.

I built a 12 by 12 room...for around $400-500.....

It was 15 years ago....and my memory is fuzzy...

yea i think its gunna cost somewhere around there

I would call your local home depot or lumber yard to find the current prices.
Have you drawn up the plans yet?

i just put up the frame for the room.. the lumber costed around 150 and hardware n such was an additional 50
