First larger setup 15 plants

200sq feet of space. 1000w lamp covers 4x4 or 16sq feet. 200/16 = 13.75. You will need to get around 14 1000w lights. If you want maximum yield for a small number of plants then SCROG is the best method. It does have a longer veg time but with 14 lights you could have 14 plants scroged to 4x4 and a plant for a mom maybe.

So 14 1000w, all from the top? Where can I get good SCROG technique guides? I know only little about it.
What would you expect for a yeild fo a setup like that?

Yield depends on a ton of factors but for a beginner expect 0.3 to 0.6 grams per watt or 4,200 - 8,400 grams
For a experienced grower in a dialled room I would expect 1 gram per watt or 14,000 grams.
With scrog setups there is less need for penetration so 600w lamps might work for you too. I have only done one SCROG and it was alot smaller than the space your dealing with.


You can also look into LST and Topping and just make those 15 plants into bushes. This will require more side lighting and you will get more popcorn buds.

you do NOT need 14 1000 watt lights for 15 plants. Absolutely do NOT do this. It is a complete waste of light for that number of plants. Max for 15 plants that you would need for maximum efficiency to yield would be 2 1000 watt hps. yes you could fill out plants to this big, but i still think it would be a waste to run this many lights. He would have to veg his plants for 3 months to fill out each light.

15 plants can be grown into trees as well. 15 huge trees would be too big for 2 1000w lights. I took the question as to mean how can i fill up this space with the most amount of weed and price doesnt matter.

he said money was no object. it would indeed take a long time to fill a screen 4x4. This setup is not the quickest or cheapest but it would produce the most amount in your space with the least amount of plants. Most people do not want to wait for a plant to fill up a screen that big so yeah.

If you want to keep price down to a normal healthy level go with 2 1000watters and lst mainline or top them.

cdub is correct this would take a long time to fill. I would probably cut this in half and do 7 1000w and 2 plants per 4x4 net. or one per 2x2 net.

basicly I want to yield the most that I can in a 12 month period using 15 plants in a 11.5x20 room.
I would like to see at least 10 pounds. are 2 1000w able to produce that? I have no problem getting 15 1000w if it means a signifigantly larger crop.
