Very new, making my first grow.

Hey everybody, so i just wanted to start off saying thanks for any help you might provide me with.

So, im thinking of a two room grow, one for veg and one for flower. I want to roughly be able to flower 6-8 plants at a time. Will a 400w HPS bulb be enough? How big should i make my flower room? any information is greatly appreciated

6-8 large plants will need more than 400W, imo. more like 2 600W

What about 5 good sized plants? Are there any written tuts on grow room building out there?

I would have buy a tent for flower room, and just put lights in a room/closet for veg room.

building a grow box is a pain in the ass.

Is building a box really that much of a pain in the ass? are the tents worth it? Where can i get them for the best price?

cheapest ones are like $130. I've seen people make decent boxes.. made it seem like it was easy.. but if you haven't done alot of wood working before, it can be a pain.. specially if you make it too small or too heavy. And if you do make a box... don't put next to furnace/AC.. cus you will not be able to move it easily.
