    i m gonna start a grow and i m looking for lamps..i wanna grow 2 or 3 plants..
    butt i know fuck all about lamps so if any1 could let me know if this setup is any good i would be greatful.

    thats a good light and good company.......a 400 hps is about the same price...

    ye i know about the price..only problem i dont want to pay too much on bills with 400 watt..so u think i can get 3 plants with that?

    that is the exact same light i have from the exact same place. i grow 3 plants and flower them from seed and LST them otherwise they would get too big for my space and the lights.

    here is a place for advice on 250w HPS

    last year at this time i was not growing. when compared to my electricity bill when i wasn't growing, the 250w HPS light adds about $25 to my monthly electricity bill.

    Yeah, 250 Watts is good enought for 3 plants. If you can, I'd recommend using a 250 Watt metal halide light for vegetation, then use the HPS for flowering. Metal Halides aren't nearly as expensive as sodium, so it wouldn't be that much more expensive all together.

    I bought a 400 W metal halide, and i wanna say it was around $30.
