What lights to use

150 is ok but 250 watts is much better around 25,000 lumens total, you can yield around 4-5 ounces per plant with a 250w. You are having heat problems with a cool tube and a 150w? What kind of ventilation?

did you try to run it all in ther and check temps at diffrent times a day ?

(a good thermo/hydro meter can also safe your max and min. temps/humidity doing the day)

need to be able to keep it around 80F .. if it peak at +85F at mid day etc. it might be a idea to run it at night aso.

i would say keep the 150 if you like the results your achieving from it but you can always beef up your setup with some supplementary lighting i like the t5 bars their great for side lighting and have pretty good penatration if you can get the high outputs 2700k for flowering 6500k for veggie and they run pretty cool with minimal cost! hope this helps

Not having a heat issue yet, just dont wanna go to big and run into one. Ill try to post a pic of my setup this evening when the lights are on.

trust me throw some t5's in their for suplimentary light youll b happy with the results

I have only good things to say about T5s .. but yea .. go with tht HO (high output) type if you choose that way .. or you might aswell just get normal T8 .. keep em with in 10 inch of the plants ..

they produce next to no heat .. I can tutch mine .. and they have now been running for 6 days strait on my small new seedlings ..

Get a 400 dimmable ballast.That way you can grow more latter on.If to hot, then just set it up to 200w.Love my dimmable ballast.

Crank it up to a 250 or 400w brah brah. Just make sure you can vent the exhaust outside of your room.

You'll get a nice bump in yield if you can control the temps.
