Default Constant inline fan used for lights. How's it affect CO2?

Hey guys, so I'm running CO2, but I also have an inline fan hooked up to my lights in order to keep them cool. So I'm running the fan constantly as well as my co2 boost. Should I have the fan on a timer or would the constant switching between on and off create too much of an irregularity in temperature. Also all the CO2 I'm pumping out, is it actually getting used by my plants before the other end of the lamp pulls the air in and out? Thanks!

If you set it up so that the light takes air from outside or a different room, it wont be exhausting your CO2.

Use a separate inline and only have it sucking air through the filter and run a closed loop for the lights, intake from outside and exhaust to the outside.

how often should I have the separate inline run and how often? Like should it come on once every 3 hours for 15 mins, etc?
