    Lightbulb Battery grow...

Ok so ive seen a few of this exact question...most of which were met by ridicule (but i agree some of them where ridiculous) but please: only constructive criticism here please so heres the story...

Outside shed with no power and no way to get power from the mains there. I only wish to run 2 or 3 200w ish CFLs in there. Now I have been looking at leisure batteries (the type for caravans, vans with T.Vs in the back and yachts etc) and am wondering if anyone on here has used or know enough about them to give me an idea whether this is possible? I considered a generator (sound is not an issue) at first but found it would not be able to run for the whole light cycle...so i then thought maybe get the generator to power the batteries when they run outta juice?? save lugging batteries back and fourth...a solar panel is also not an option...nor is the sun any ideas or pointers would be great. if a few batteries would be required then this could also be arranged!

Now imma go blaze one and also ponder this idea

    hmmm...

Your Idea would work kinda like a sump pumb with a battery and a UPS. Can you not run any kind of extension cord or is this just completly in the woods. I understand that its a little late in the season to plant outside but they make light tunnels that you can install in the roof and have them spot light an area inside. a little more detail on the shed setup and Ill be happy to give you some advise.

Don't think those bats are capable of powering 600 watts, the question is how many amps do they draw? I personally don't know, but am curious to find out.

How far is the shed from the nearest outlet? Running extension cords through PVC pipes or garden hoses might be less costly. Just a thought. Is this a stealthy grow?
Enjoying other people's efforts since 1964 and honestly, all posts by this user should be considered fictional and are for entertainment use only. Anyone reading these posts should be advised that aliens brought us weed from their home planet.

I'm pretty sure the logistics of te appearant situation make this either really expinsive or just not doable.
