Light at top or move all around?
I have 4X4 grow space with 1000 watter mounted permanately at the top...I let the plant's fill the space...I yield great for small space avg 2-3lbs per grow of 6 plant's starting flower at 22" and finishing around 60" avg....I don't understand people telling newbee's to keep light at 12-14" away from plant's...WTF...I must be missing somthing? I know everyone grow's different but..62.5 watt's per square foot that I provide is more than enough for the space...Frosty bud's that blow me away! not huge but avg 14" cola's with avg 6-8 each plant......What I'd like to know is why people do this and what advantage do you feel you get! I am an old fart 62yo and have grown over 50 year's and still am amazed by this phemonana...Please tell me your thought's! My grow's are allway's trouble free as I am proactive..ie spray for mite's before they appear and use sns for mold pre-flower and never see and never see over nute-problem or burn's or...BUT due to using min amount's of nute's sometime's get cal-mg def... but late and doesn't effect yield! Thank's to all ahead of time!! Depend's on size of plant when small 14-20" it's 5 feet from cooltube...at 50" it's20" away!! When it need's the extra lumen's....my thought..jack
Its always better to surround your plants with light.
your better off moving your lights up as your plants grow so they get maximum lumens from the light or atleast rig somthing to get the plants closer to the light when their younger it should make them bush more and yield fatter denser buds

Took three people 4 1/2 hours to harvest!! have one layer in drying rack per plant and some 6 can's..harvest size same as last run with little noticible difference either bud size or density!
