Default Cooltube / ducting Question ?
Dunno if any 1 esle bothers about this but its been annoying me ... Ive a cooltube running with ducting coming out the top and into another room and at night both the inline and out is glowing my hole room , Is there any thing can be used to stop the light coming out but keep the air flowing just as fast ???
And do youse use any thing 2 cool the hot air coming out ?? my hole room outside the GR is for of condencation now

Any tips

put a dehumidifier in the room where you exhaust the cooltube. I have a cooltube also and i know what you are talking about with the light that comes out of the vents. I am going to cover mine with some of those lights that you put on the wall that look like a half bowl. I will put them up and it will look like a regular light and no one will even guess that there is a vent behind it.

The light is still a problem ? i was thinking of using womens tights for the end of it .. i dont no it it will work or slow air movement down or not or go on fire with the heat ... ?

No ideas people i thought some of use DIY wizz,,s could of sorted this 1 out ???

Im hoping for no light leeks or even less but with equal air movment ,,,

any help ideas welcomed ......

Use flexible ducting (dryer vent hose) and make several 90% 'crooks' in it between the light and the exhaust hole. This should keep almost all light from coming out with the exhausted air.

Sounds like a plan cheers bud will give it a try now do u think it will slow the air flow down 2?
