Considering where to build new grow area - Have questions for contractors on RIU

you wanna make sure there is room on the electrical board for you to draw the power you are gonna need for your grow. you will need an electrician for all electrical installations. you will also need an hvac technician to install and charge your mini split ac. it's not hard but if you don't know what you are doing then you're gonna need someone. not sure what else you will need to look for; kinda depends on how big of a grow you are gonna be doing.

set up in a decent neighborhood. be discrete

yea, honestly, keep it at you place and work on securtiy and privacy, build a bunker or something... will be cheaper than rent overtime

The house thing is tough, you cant knock on the neighbors door and ask if they are ok with a grow house being next to theirs. If they not 420 friendly they will think it will bring crime to the neighborhood. They will look at it like you putting something someone wants to steal right next door.

I would look for an old warehouse or something like that in a comercial area with no people with kids.

I am trying to set up a very small operation in my basement. I am in a gated community, but the houses are close together. I am freaked out about anything to do with light bleed, smell, etc almost to the point of giving up hope on starting. If you end up buying a place, PM me. I will help you build it out (i am extremely handy) and you can teach me how to grow.

I am on the west side, wife has nerve pain and after a few surgeries at John's Hopkins we have given up. The 600 dollar a month pot bill is one I want off the budget

If you are on the west side let me know. I would love to pick somebodies brain about growing ideas at least. Especially those with young children and neighbors close by.

you could grow 2 plants in a closet with no light, smell, etc.. issues. or a tent in your basement. if you are spending $600 a month on weed then that's about 2oz i'm guessing. all you would need is 2 plants on a 1 month perpetual harvest. not that complicated if you read around the forum. get yourself a 4x4 tent and grow 4 plants in soil. no need for anything else besides a 600w light, some fans, hood, maybe a dehu, carbon filter, pots, seeds, dirt, cheap nutes. i really don't understand how that could make anyone paranoid in a MMJ state.
