hps for small tent
i have a 3 foot tall tent and i am thinking of getting an 250w hps with a cooltube. my tent is a 1.5x2x3' tent. how many feet or inches would the hps have to be from the plants?

hardest thing is finding a cooltube short enough to fit
yeahive seen 21" and 19" i think they would fit. i would have ducting on one side and a fan attached on the other to pull air out.
that 1.5 m 2m 3m which basically is 2 1 meter squares which means you can run 2 600 watss in there with np. the only time i need cool tubes is in the prime of summer as i drag my air directly from outside..but as long as you run a negative pressure you should have np. i can hold my reflectors when the 600 hps are running and fell no heat on them. or i use 2 of the same tents. is it a secret jordain.Originally Posted by dank smoker420

2 600s would be to much for me. i am with a 125w right now. and my temps are at 86. but the light is pretty close. i would want to cooltube just to keep it alot cooler the prime of summer for me is 110 and in winter its around 50-60. i have a lighthouse hydro tent. i am running a negative pressure right now. with one 188cfm duct fan. would 188 cfm be enough for a cool tube?
