If you have five dollars and Chuck Norris has five dollars, Chuck Norris has more money than you.
Hey guys, havent been on the site for quite some time. getting ready to set up my new room here. Jumping up from a 2x1000w set up to a 4x1000 set up. I wanna do a CGE grow with CO2 so I'm buying a tent. The only problem is i can only use an 8x8 space so im going to go with the grow lab 7'11x7'11x6'7 tent. I know i can fit the 4x1000s in it but will heat be an issue if properly vented. Ive never had to use AC before and now since im going to be pumping co2 from a tank i know my temps can go a little higher. My main question is, is it possible to pull this off without the use of AC? Im kinda on a tight budget and a decent AC unit really isnt in the cards. plus im not going to have room for it either. the whole room is a 9x12 but im going to leave the 3 feet outside the tent for the ballasts, resivor, nutes basically all i want in the tent is the lights, plants, and the dehum. Have you guys ever seen 4000's crammed into an 8x8? looking to pull the max...lol any thoughts ideas comments, greatly appreciated.

i would just stick the 2x1000w in there. 4 of them is just overkill.
Are the lights air cooled?
also using co2 you want your temps around 80-85 degrees so going with 2 lights would probably be best. youll have to get some kind of cooling if your running 4 i would think.
yeah their all 6inch air cooled, im going to be using two vortex inline fans to vent.........i allready have all four of the lights, maybe ill do two in there and do a seperate room in the shed then.... my goal is 4lbs in the tent.....is this feasable with what im working with....thats basically 4oz a plant average...not sure if that obtainable indoors

well with 2000w in there if you get 1 gram per watt you would get 4 and a half pounds....but you have to be doing pretty good to get 1g a watt...some people get more then that too, its all in how dialed in that you have it...so you could do it.
I'm running a 7' x 44" room and I'm about to drop in my second 600w . keep us posted.

Best i can say is switch yur light cycle to on dureing night time and off at day.
Get a monster outtake and a decent intake (smaller than outake) and have it drawing cold air from the outside.
Granted depends on your weather.
Hope it helps.
Mess with my grow and you answer to this guy!

My climate is up in the mountains so it stays pretty cool here, even when it gets hot there is hardly any humidity in the air.....I live well over 6,250 above sea level...im gonna try n run 2 6 inch vortex fans on the intake of the lights and two 8 inchers with condensers pulling the air out......each set will run two lights.......i hope it works.....i just dunno know how im gonna keep the room cool inside the tent suince itll be sealed off......lots of fans and maybe ill find a way to get a small ac unit in there....i duno....keep you guys posted

you can probaly run cold air from the fall and winter to cool your lights then it shouldn't heat up your room so you can run co2 but I don't know if it would hurt the bulbs runing realy cold air over them it takes a lot of work to efficiantly run co2 most people use ac with it
