Greetings to you all, So i decided to get out of North America, and Live in a small town by the coast of Chile. So let the journey begins!
Problems?
1. High cost of electricity estimated 20 cents per Kilo watt per hour!
solutions in mind LED'S.
Here is what i got so far.
1. 500 watt Leds brand blackstar. ( 3W X 16
2. 147 watt leds brand Chinese. 49 X 3W (39 Red and 10 Blue)
3.60 x 60 x 78" 5 x 5 Ft 100% Reflective Mylar Hydroponic4. 3 air pumps
4. 1 air stone ( yes i know !)
5. Hydroton enough for 4 3' inches pots.
6. 2 CFL'S 42w each (extra veg blue spectrum)
7. General Organics Nutrients Go box.
8. electronic ph tester
9. water thermostat.
10. seeds ! ! ! ! !
11. knowledge.
12. NONE WITH LEDS

With all respect i did not came here to know how desesperado you are about pussy, i need to know how many plants i could grow and any suggestions for a better grow with less wattage.
My two recommendations:
1) Supplement the LEDs with T5s andor a small HID. Fill out the spectrum a bit. (A good read is the LED without LEDs thread ...)
2) Use salt nutes in place of GO if you're committing to hydro. Cheaper, more effective, less non-nutrients to possibly support pathogens. Jmo. cn

hey inudan, welcome to latin america. i got out of the U.S. 8 years ago. didn't get as far south as you though.
just one tip, grow soil for your first time out. higher chance of success, hydro can be extremely touchy for a new grower to master while they are trying to learn their plants. very unforgiving. just my opinion. good luck.
