I'm pretty upset right now at these plants. I have to move in 7 weeks, I have had these plants in 12/12 for the past 3 and have given them tlc, but they have
still not flowered even after I added two more 105 2700k watt cfls. they just grow a bit everyday, but no signs of sex or flowering. I dont know what to do at this point
after spending money and time hoping i could pull it off in three months.:wall: I cant take them with me when I move, and it seems that they wont be finishing anytime soon either. I'm thinking about leaving it in the dark for 36 hours to see if anything happens. what do you think? I'm all out of ideas
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Well, I know my Bluberry didnt really start showing signs untill around 3 weeks, but now they are lookn pretty damn good 2 weeks later.

i had my box open in the dark cycle and i noticed a couple small light leaks, you may want to dbl check for them also.

HPS,MH,CFL's,T5's plants need a wide spectrum of light to work optimally. maybe eventually ill get a couple of nice CMH bulbs and do away with the others.

Your plants are most likely sativa dominant or you havent really supplies them with alot of Phoso yet for them to really bud up...

The best stuff I have ever found was OPEN SESAME from Fox Farm,,, just OPENS the BLOOMS UP like week 1 style....

ALSO YES try the 36 DARK thing it has done wonders for me in the past in speeding up the process...

If you cant be patient you can force it, raise your dark time by an hour or two, (in the dark certain stuff is made that is basically removed when there is light, by going 12/12 instead of 18/6 you give less time to remove it and more time to make it, so if you absolutly cant wait much longer kick your cycle to 13/11 14/10 for a few days, pretty well gaurentee unless you have serious light leakage youll see it then

...Warning you now going to far to fast is bad (jumping to 15 dark/9 light from 12/12 is a almost gaurenteed way to stress hermie your baby

To my understanding phosphorous only becomes seriously needed After flowering starts, not before. I have the Fox Farms nutrient trio, and I fell like Tiger Bloom should be a decent substitute for open sesame, but perhaps i'll check that out for my next grow. if there is another grow...

I use so little of Big bloom, Grow Big, Tiger bloom and so much of Open Sesame, Cha Ching its not funny

BTW Open SESAME IS AMAZING and will force your plants into flowering so fast its not funny.

Also they dont want a bunch of Phoso that early but they need to be hit with it to let em know what they are suppossed to be doing.

I bet they were quite a bit smaller when flipped, right? you kind of hurt yourself there as if a plant is not mature (showing alternating nodes and preflowers appearing are what to look for to check if its mature or not) it will continue to finish vegging and becoming mature. since it has less time to make energy it will take it longer to really get going and reach that point compared to if they were kept on a veg cycle and had the additional time to make energy to mature and start flowering. honestly im doubtful you are going to make it. I'm sorry about your grow. Do you plan on growing at your new place? if so their is always next time and you can still make hash or butter with these plants. hard to tell how potent it will be though.

This upsets me since even though my initial instincts were similar to what you're saying now, but I saw so many threads that claimed to have finished early because of switching to 12/12 early. I flipped when they hit 8 inches in height. the tallest is at about 16-18 inches now. I did so to keep them short, since i'm using cfls in a small grow area, and also using a smaller pot, so I didn't want the roots to outgrow the medium. Asuming my plant usually grows to a height of 5 feet in nature does it make sense to be able to complete growing it without surpassing 2 feet?

Okay yes open sesame looks promising, except my plants have yet to show any signs of sex. NONE at all. Im not able to find anything about forcing plants to show sex beyond 12/12, and i'm currently doing 10/14, still no dice

topping doesnt really slow growth that much. i still see growth from the rest of the plant, it just takes a day or 2 for the top to heal up. lst is a good option to go with though.

Ok my problem (and I looked at your pics again) is your plants look decently healthy.

Any plant 1 week old veg to 3 months veg I put into flower and in one week has bud sites, 2 weeks practically buds.

If your plants are doing this then you MUST have a serios light/timer/something problems...

You have sat with them in dark for a hour to make sure no light is popping up..

Accidental depressed prongs on timer..

NuTRion?

Preflowers dont always matter...

Are the Even Preflowering Now???

yes it looks like they are mostly male. I just said fuck it and started giving them tigerbloom. And yes it baffles me that even though they were healthy, it has takien 3 weeks of 12/12 with 425 watts of cfl just to show sex. There are no light leaks at all, but I am doing it manually on at 8 in the morning, off at 6 in the evening. now i'm actually going to start 8-8 since they seem to be getting on board :/
