    Default Two Tents One Fan

I currently have a 4x4x7 and a 3x3x6.5 tent. The 3x3 is venting into the 4x4 and there it's getting picked up by a 440 cfm fan/filter combo and shot out of the tent into the outdoors. It's working okay but I was thinking of installing a 220 cfm duct booster in the line (coming from the 3x3) to improve the draw. My question is, would the added booster be too much for my 440 rated filter? I have a 250w hps in the small tent and a 600w hps in the larger one if this makes a difference.

    Thanks,
    cs

what was the reasoning behind wanting to upgrade? are temps getting too high in either tent. or is everything looking good? if it's all good I wouldn't change a thing. I would just try to make sure everything is nice and air tight.

Are you using cooltubes, or are these just coming straight from the tents, if they are not in cooltubes, I would not upgrade the fan, I would just get some cooltubes and run all the air through them.

My buddy uses a similar system but with three rooms. We discovered that the holes between rooms need to be relatively huge to keep canopy temps at 80 (lacking cool tubes). The large holes are a pita though because of light leakage so you have to get creative.

    Hi,
My reasoning for wanting to add a duct booster is the lack of negative pressure I'm getting on the 3x3 tent. The larger 4x4 tent where the fan is, is just fine. So my concern is once I start flowering there may be some smells I'd rather not have (in the 3x3). As far as temps are concerned, I am running between 70-75 degrees in both tents. I have an air cooled hood on the 600w but the 250 (smaller tent) is just open. It runs pretty cool though, it's only 250w. Do you think I should be concerned about the lack of negative pressure, would a duct booster overpower my 440 fan? I appreciate your input, thank you for that
