My Things Finally Came In The Mail Today! Still Waiting On Mylar And Seeds{widow}from Nirvana.last I Checked I Was At 7 Of 7. If my plants were that big i would go for about 12" above the tops.
Make sure that your fan is moving the heat away from the tops though.
I have mine now they are flowering 8" away from the 400watt hps.

You have to be very careful though at this distance and keep a close eye on them in case they burn.
You can buy a heat spreader to go on your lamp if you cant check on them to often

Is that a "viewing window" in the 2nd picture?
Because
if so i would cover that thing up ASAP
because
, 1) When you start flowering its obviously NOT going to be light proof, and 2) If
Leo
comes round for
whatever
reason (it happens/happened) they are gonna see your grow.
Also take down the weed posters
because
is the police come round they will see the weed
paraphernalia
, and give them a reason to search further....
Don't
like to scare monger and dish out paranoia, but just be
careful
.....

But i could be wrong and you could have a medical permit and i just
don't
know it

the grow room is in the attic.. the door leading to the attic has been turned into a bookshelf..so you would never even know there is a door there, and also my atttic has no windows and from the outside of my crib, you cant tell there is another level to the house, the shit is perfect.
