Default Cabinet size for DWC monster bush?

Hello soon-to-be friends. This is my first post, and I'd like to start by thanking everyone for the invaluable information you've been dispensing.
I'm going to be starting a legal medical grow, and in my particular jurisdiction the most stringent limitations are on the number of plants one may legally possess. As a consequence, I'm aiming to grow the largest plants possible (within reason.) I am building separate cabinets for each plant, and was planning on cabinets 4'x4'x6', 6' being the height.
I will be using home-made LED arrays mounted on aluminium u-channel heat sinks, which will surround the plant as side lighting, with some up top as well of course. With 6" on each side allowed for space between the LED arrays and the plant, this would leave room for a plant approximately 3' in diameter, and about 4 1/2" tall, taking the bucket into account. Is it feasible for me to efficiently grow a plant to these dimensions? Would I need to adjust the height to correspond with this width? Any input, especially from experience, would be much appreciated.
I would like to design the veg cabs smaller if possible, so as to economise my space. Would it be reasonable to build these 3'x3' and assume that they would fill out the extra 6" on each side during stretch, or is this a bit conservative?

I assume that some fairly intensive pruning might be in order to help fill up this cab, so any info on that would be nice, but I can save that for another thread.

    Some info that might help:
My chosen strain for this grow is White Rhino, which I've read can grow into quite a bush. I also have Super Lemon Haze and Big Bud seeds, for when I want to mix things up later.
The veg cabs will each have about 100W worth of some of the newest, most efficient, highest luminosity LEDs on the market. The flower cabs will have about double that amount.
I'll be painting the interiors with highly reflective elastomeric paint, and using computer fans for ventilation and to pass air through carbon scrubbers (which will also be of my own design.)
Any other relevant info will gladly be furnished upon request. Once I've got the LED arrays built, I will start a thread on those as well. At the risk of sounding cocky, they should be hum-dingers.

Thanks in advance to all for the help,
    Easydo

Heya guys. Just wondering if ANYONE could perhaps give me a little advice on this. I've spent countless hours scouring the threads on this site, and many of its doppelgangers, and am still having trouble getting any decent info. To simplify my question; is shooting for a plant roughly 3' in diameter and 4 1/2' tall a reasonable aim, or would you recommend me aiming for something more conservative in any dimension, keeping in mind that this is predominantly Indica and that I will be making extensive use of side-lighting. Thanks,

Hi dude, its easy to do but you'll need a SCROG screen also growing in Hydro will help the plant grow bigger and quicker than soil.. I just pulled 17.5 oZ Dry-Weight off a single Royal-Haze in a SCROG cabinet.. so if I was to do 3 cabs and use the same technique in each then the total dry weight would be around 52.5 oZ (v. nice) ...its a shame I only have enough space for 1 Cab or I'd defo do 3 separate SCROGs!

Oh! I was planning on also growing a white Rhino this time around, but the bloody seed hasn't popped so I am going to grow a 'Shining Silver Haze' instead, its supposed to yield a bit less at 450g per m2, but its a super nice smoke so I hope by SCROGing it and topping it in excess of 40 times should give me a similar figure as the Royal-Haze (also topped in excess of 40 times and SCROGGED in DWC tubs..)

Hope that helps ya a bit - STELTHY

Erm... off the top of my head the Cab is approx 7' Tall 4'.5" Wide and 2'.5" Deep ....but the actual grow space (minus the fan, filter lighting and DWC tubs) ; is approx 4'.5" Tall, 4'.5" Wide, and 2'.5" Deep .... so depending on how ur setup is 'set-up' I would think similar results would be achievable... I would stress though you'll need to use the SCROG technique, LST technique, and DWC aka HYDRO...I used CANNA nuits and ROX (Hardener) as well as Cha-Ching and Super-Thrive !! I'd also recommend using a Dual spec 400...and add some CFL side lighting - STELTHY

Hi dude, nah a Dual Spec lamp is a single bulb that puts out alot more blue spec (normally provided by Metal Halide) as well as the red (HPS Spec) .. The lamp works best on a digital ballast and put out both red and blue spec at the same time.. You can get 'Dual-Arc' lamps that actually have MH parts and HPS parts inside the same lamp... but they are only available in 600W+ lamps! .. and are alot more expensive.. "Dual-Spec" are amazing and cheaper... however I had to get this lamp imported and it cost in excess of £140.00 just for one lamp.. But it boils down to the fact 'THEY ROCK' !!! hope that helps man! - STELTHY
