Is this a good light for the money?

I don't know about this one but i bought a 600w from ebay that they still sell on there.The balast was silver and did not have a fan in it.(usually the 1st thing to break).It was very cheaply made compared to my lumatek but i've been pushing bulbs with it for 2yrs and it was cheap.
If you can afford it i would by lumatek if not the silver ballast set up i bought works fine and came with bulbs and hood and was cheaper than just the ballast from lumatek.

I buy my setups off e-bay, lets say 1000 watt set up for $275.00 to my door, I use it for 4 grows... Then I place it on Craigslist for $235.00 FIRM.

After I sell it, I place $40 with it and get the whole "NEW" setup to my door again...New bulb, ballast, reflector....

Don't get a no name ballast, get a ReVolt instead for pretty much the same price. Check out the reviews here on RIU too, people seem to really like them. I will be ordering one soon.http://stores.ebay.com/gothamhydropo...d=p4634.c0.m14

If i was looking for a light right now i would go with these for sure,free shipping and good bulbs too.Looks to be a lot better quality than what i bought and the bulbs were bottem generic.+rep for this bro.

i try to look at this "Includes a 8 Foot 120V cord to the power outlet (US Standard Plug) " or more importantly " FCC, CE & CSA Certified "

some of the first digital ballast did not shield the cords this led to cable and phone companies looking for the source of the interference. I have a lumatec same options but I got it off craigslist for 180 with hood no glass and a old hps.....3 years old works great.

I have a revolt, I have the silver ones....I try em all, never seen one out preform better then another...sure they do light test and what not, but bottom line, I think its the paint that makes um different.

Look for a warranted unit and see how long the seller has been selling.... on my silver units they told me the warranty was 2 weeks, now I was sure they were pretty honest, as I would be embarrassed to even say that..... but my buddy was going on 2 years with the same unit, so I got it.....going on 3rd grow, 6mo and it's as good as the revolt, well the revolt gets a little hotter.
