yeah i know what u saying man bt it gets a bit much when u gotta hav 3 adapters or sumthing plus all your other sockets for lights so i just wanted to know if it was possible to lessen that and get as many fans as possible running off the least amount of plugs

i was planning on using 3 pc fans also but one on its own and two connected to the same plug would this be safe?

You CAN run 3 fans on one adapter, I do. Most a/c adapters have a thermal link that will burn out if you pull too much amperage or have a short circuit. As for a thermostat, look for a "LUX" it plugs in like a timer. If you are doing a micro grow install a $19 fan controller from newegg_dot_com.

Katilah, i cannot thank you enough bro!...

these are the best directions you could ever have seriously....i took an old phone AC adapter and rigged it just like you said.....it works great!....i was going to buy a fan but instead i just ripped open this old crappy AST computer from like 1993. it was fun to do too....im stoked on it.

one question.....IS THIS SAFE!??? do you think its safe to have on for....days? lol

i also tried it on a 4.5 volt ac adapter.....still works just weaker.....electricity is neat.

i just picked up an LED fan thats 80mm and has 3 speeds...if i connect this on a 9v AC with my other fan will it work and can i make the LED work???... it has 3 wires

i just dont want to destrot my new toy

Just use 2, the other is for pc control.

nevermind....i got one hell of a deal..... i got an LED fan with a little speed control switch (3 speeds) coming off the side for only $7 at circuit city. i rigged it up to a 9v AC adapter and it works great and speed control works....sick.

theres still a circuit city around you!?

They fucking laid me off in december...

all the local stores for me shut down. I thought they went outta business.
