Sweet setup dude, i not seen a 150w hps in action yet, is that the final flowering light? If so whats the light penetration like?

Dwc looks nicely done, looks like you have put a lot of this together yourself, smooth work too, gotta love them closet grows. Im a soil grower personally but Dwc rocks, big yeilds small space. Peace

got a question for you being your drains are all on bottom of each pail do you plan on lifting your actual pails with plants in it or do you have a check valve so water in your res will not back wash back into your pails with plants ??? and equalize

Hey whats up, thanks! I have been running 150 watt hps from day one, so far I am month in to my project. I just had to build a system that would be easier to work with for my needs. As for the system build, I am a computer tech so I try to make sure that everything looks nice and clean.

I have lifted the plant buckets about 3" off the ground to allow for flow back, so far a check valve is not needed but is still an option. Thanks for the feedback.

Nice clean grow rooms are very relaxing. I considered two 150watt bulbs for my grow but went for 250watt cfls, i was under the impression that a normal timer would work and not blow for 150watt hps without a contactor or similar in between the light and timer. Peace

I am just running my 150 watt hps on a basic timer and surge protector with light timer set at 18:6, water pump set at 15 min every 2 hrs and the air pump always stays on.

A 150watt metal hallide would really compliment this well, give you 300watts mixed spectrum over a decent sized area. Peace
