Right now I have 2 different 24" fluoros, and two of these dual 12" fluoros.
They each have a different hue of color. The dual 12's are regular white whatever light they came with, the other two have gro-lux and some other grow light, they are both a little different color.
I just added a 42 watt cfl 2700 lumens, and it is a lot more yellow than any of my other ones.
I read somewhere that you want mostly blue to give a better chance of females, so I wanted to know if all cfl's are equal or are there certain types that are better than others?
I mean, I dont mind much, I just dont want this bulb to make males.

Any info is appreciated.

I am two weeks in from when they first sprouted.
This picture is a few days old, but its just to show the light set up I have.
I just added the 42 watt cfl, so its not in this picture.
I repotted the plants into containers that are a little bigger, made 4 corners with them and put the cfl right in the middle.

As long as you do it properly you don't have to worry about if others are the same or not. Im my opinion all with the same electricity consumption will produce good buds. If you got any other questions, their is my msn messenger address on the bottom.

There are three different types of bulbs, well tube lights anyways. t12s t8s and T5s. the T12 and T8 can use the same type ballast while the T5 needs a special one. the lower the number the more lumens the light puts out. The blue end of the spectrum is more for vegative growth while the red end of the spectrum encourages flowering. you can however flower a plant under a veg bulb. the end result may not be as great but you will have buds
