well i thought i would give it another try since i have a little more time on my hands. i have 4 growing in a 120 or 130 gallon fish tank all in separate potters, moisture control potting soil to keep watering to a adequate level. when i re potted them i went and bought 12 gold fish and cut them up and put at the bottom of the potters a few inches or so from bottom for nutrient's, i have 4 48" bulbs to a florescent ballast fixture that i converted and added 2 more lights to for a 6 light fixture. the bulbs are not the best but what i have to work with for the time being, 3 of them are plant and aquarium f150-T12's and the other 3 are f100 -T12. i also have 2 regular 100w bulbs on the outside shinning in for added light and warmth, the ballast i converted while i added the 2 extra lights i went ahead and lined the inside of it with aluminum foil, dull side out, better light dispense i herd. i lined the inside of the tank, back side and the 2 sides with aluminum foil dull side out also with a bright white table cloth on the bottom so i can maximize my lighting. the ballast sits roughly 1inch and a half to 2 inches off the top, the light fits the top of the tank perfectly but i have it that was so i don't get stag air, i plan on tomorrow putting a foam seal around the bottom of the light to seal it while i finish cutting my 2 holes out of the top of the ballast for my ventilation, one on each side. with the way it's set up right now i am running a temp of 74 to 80 in it right now, its been about a week, week in a half and i think i will give it another week or so them put it on my timer depending on how they do i will set my on/off accordingly

Well any input and suggestions are welcome so please let me know how i can improve my set up or anything like that, the pics are from eirlier before i finished but i can get more if needed

well im getting better lights this weekend than im gonna put them on the time cycle. what cycle would best suit them u think?

they arent ready to be flowered for one thing. and 12light/12dark is the only cycle.

true, but yeah thats what i had my last setup at and they did great, was just wondering cuz i herd a few people say like 14 on and 10 off weired crap like that

i personally wait until the 8th-10th internode, if not more, to start flowering depending on the method i use. how much did u yeild of your last setup? 12/12 is the only cycle, u can use 14/10 but u might get hermies, that 2 extra hours of light makes no noticable difference from waht ive seen.

i do 18 (on) 6 (off) for veg...12 12 is for flowering! u can do 16 8 too...ive seen this on many grow dvd's and many other websites...12-12 is for flowering!
