i would go with fletch and do what he says.... get two mirrors and put them on sliding tracks and make it like it was before with the mirrors....being able to completely hide it and access it with moving mirrors!!!


few questions tho...can you give us a detailed description of your venting system...the underworking of it under the house...and it in the closet...

from what i can see...you ran it up thru the floor in the closet thru the veg chamber( the bottom, right?) and then from the veg chamber (up in the corner) to the flower chamber? and i guess that open face duct that you have sitting in the flower chamber is the intake bringing in air?

the air cooled hood.... do you have air blowing on it? or exhausting the air?

what size fans are you using? what kind? how powerful?

im trying to figure out a good ventilation system for my closet... and i see you may have given me a solution!!!

Basically i ran a 6" fresh air intake under the crawl space attached to a vent on the outside of my house it is reduced to 4" where it penitrates the floor and is Y ed at the vegg chamber to a 4" in line fan

which pulls in fresh air for the vegg area. Above it is enlarged to 6" with the same kinda fan but in 6". I used the same size fan for the outakes of both areas thus an even quality of air movement.

In the flower area i used this hood

and attached the 6" exhaust directly to it pulling out the hot air. So far average temps are:

vegg area
min: 71
max: 88

flower area:
min: 68
max: 82

As for the mirror thing, I think i'll just put up a curtain and rod to conceal the grow closet.

For flower its a 400w HPS

For Vegg its 12 26w CFL with 2 pair 4ft fluros for side lighting
