HPS ventalation HELP!!! +rep

alright i have a 400w hps and i need to but it in soon because my plants are ready to flower,if was to put the bulb directly next to a peice of duct, and a fan blowing at the blub and out the duckt will this remove the hot air from my room?

No need to have the tube next to the bulb. Near the ceiling or top of teh growspace will work as well. As long as you're exhausting hot air out, it'll help.

you want to suck air from the top of the tent/grow room I have a cheap bathroom extractor (36 cfm) with a pipe out near the window keeps my 400w hps in a 1m/1m/2m tent around 75f

Dont forget to have some air coming in as well. Without an intake it makes it alot harder to keep the room cooler because the only source would be from parts if the room that arent sealed.

What size grow room? I have a 600w with a 440 cfm up top. I also bought a clip on fan that is blowing right on my light. My room is 3X4X6.5. I also have a fan blowing air in at the bottom. You should be fine without putting the tube right next to your light, but if you can without a problem go for it!

i see no carbon filter in ya set up? ya going in flower soon too? do it right dont skimp on ya grow mate yal loose the lot do it right get rid of the smell n heat in one! carbon filter mate goooooooooood lol !!! rep me up too lol

u are going to want to mount the fan on the exhaust side pulling and have a passive duct drawing cool air in an mount near light so it sucks heat from lamp and draws cool air across bulb Hope that i explained that where it can be understood
