i have several grows but my one house is clean and i dont want it to be!! lol, i have a very high electric bill aleready, thats why im not growin there now, but what is the lowest electric way to grow?? is it cfls,t5,t8;s or what?? i want 14 plants to be flwering and a vegg room for 7 mothers, tell me what i need! please, thanks!! im used to hps and tons of electric but noone lives in those houses but my babies so... help me out! what do youthink??

well a cfl uses the least amount of electricity but the over all cost of growing plants with cfls is greater then hid lights.For 14 plants depending how you grow in what style or medium Id still go hid since they are cheap and dont use much now adays.Get a 8 bulb T5 light for the veg area and then either a digital 400 or 600 watt light with a mover rail for the 14 flowering.Use 2 four foot shop lights for the moms.It costs me about $65 a month to run 2 600 watt digital lights on 12/12.They are cheap and quiet running. Maryland Hydroponics has them for $119

yea im lookin for the lowest electric cause ive got weed growing but its not at my house, my house has me my wife and 5 kids, so electric is high but i miss not being able to see them whenever i want. the area still isnt gonna be in the house but its on the same electric. so its a worry with the family there and all. i hate the fuckin laws!

you cant grow 14 plants with low electricity... or 21 plants if you count the mothers... if you think about it cfls are cheaper... but you will need alot of them to flower... and if your gonna use alot of cfls then its not worth it... hps are much much more efficient then cfls... with cfls you get like 50-60 lumens per watt.. with hps you get 100+ lumens per watt... so it would be smarter to have 1 400 watt hps then 400 watts worth of cfls.

why do you need 7 mothers for 14 flowering plants.........

maybe he wants to keep 7 strains alive for cloning if he wants that strain...who knows

yea i have 7 different mothers i want to keep at the house where i live, there my babies and i want 'em close. there old and crossed with the best ive had. all brand new strains of my own. love em so much!
