100/ 150w hps with ballast at home depot?

well im not a big time grower but im a big time smoker and i want to get good indoor yield with a decent light, i dont have hella cash to blow so is there a 100 of 150w hps w/ ballast at home depot or lowes? and how much would they go for?

they sell the bulb but not the ballast but you can find cheap lights here.www.e-conolight.com/ if this will help u. or find a hydro store near u an they sell 150 watter for like 89 bucks..

I found a hydroponics shop and i started out with a sunsystem 150 watt built in ballest grow light and it only cost me 100 bucks i figure its about a buck a watt for the bood stuff. but if i were to do it aain i wouldnt go with less then a 250

i was lookin at them yesterday actually. i remember a 100w MH for 89. all of em were around that price. idk if they have 150w though

At Lowes and Home De all the HPS I've seen are setup for 240V meaning you'd have to make it run off 120V which is a little work but not much since there are so many write-ups and how-to's around. The cheapest HPS growlight sold by stores for 120v I recall is the HTG supply 150W HPS which is 82.85 with free shipping.

Yea lowes or home depot have em, I think 60 to 90 dollarsish. They work good with some adjusting. Shud be American voltage if bought in America. Did u end up getting a hps? 150 wats is decent for a small plant , 300 to 400 is ridonkulously better tho

You can buy a 100w HPS with built in ballast at Home Depot or Lowes - they are security lights meant for outside. I have one in my veg room, made one hell of a difference considering I'm only using 8 fluoros in there, and its small enough to not require extra ventilation in my case.
