I found a couple older T12's sitting around & was wondering if anyone could tell me if they'd be any good for flowering? I have plans to purchase a T5 Unit but would like to just use this for now since I have it sitting around, if it would be possible with decent results. I haven't looked around real hard, but I did a few searches & couldn't find any tubes over like 75W?

Also what would an LED light be good for? I've heard a little talk about them but haven't been able to come up with alot of info on it.

you can use the shop light to flower but your buds won't be as dense they will be more on the popcorn side and the yield won't be as great as an HID light but it will work. Make sure you get the 2700k for flowering and I don't really know the wattages they have for them since I don't really use them I have two shoplights that hold two 48" 40watt long tubes a peice.
