Hi, im currently growing in my closet which is 20" deep 57" wide and 92" tall. Im urrently just growing a couple of big bang and a bagseed under a blue 125w cfl and iv got a red one for flowering

Now after reading more on this site id like to switch to hps, i was wondering what would be better for this spae 2 250w lights for more coverage or a single 400w

I will prob finish this small grow with the cfl's just to see how it does and give me something to compare to, im just learning the ropes with this grow but i want to fill my closet next time

any advice would be cool, thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum. Don't wait, introduce the red spectrum in addition to the blue. Buy the book, "marijuana Buds for less. Grow 8oz. of Buds for less than $100. I had read The grow bible, General Hydroponics and tons of other information in this and other forums. I think every new grower should be required to have this one. The author is a member of this forum. Check it out, thank me later. Best $16.95 you will spend. Could save you hundreds with that limited space. VV

cool man looks like you got your head together on this one, i would get a 400watt hps, it will cost to much to get 2 250wat cuz 1 250watt will almost cost as much as a 400watt, also the 400 watt will nicly cover a 3x3 to 4X4 real well i say up to 6 fairly large plants, but if you wanna fill closet say 5x5 to 7x7 i would get a 600 watt

I was leaning towards the 400w myself so you have convinced me lol, i just love watching these babies grow

Im not in the US so dont think i could buy from there unfortunately

however iv found a light that i might invest in, it says it can run hps and mh so it would be ideal. If someone could take a look and give me there opinion on it that would be cool, heres the link

not a bad deal there.. but with a small grow space like that I think you should get an air cooled hood or tube.
