Can you hook a light to a thermostat? ++REP FOR HELP

i need to use a light to keep a temp in my shroom growing box anyone know what kind of thermostat and how to hook up a bulb to it ?

The pet store will have a reptile thermostat similar to ones use for seedling heat mats. You can plug any low amperage device right into it. You can also get a ceramic heater that is like a light bulb, just no light. I think the reptile department is going to be a good place to start.

You can use a single pole line voltage thermostat used for baseboard heaters. Or you can find a plug in thermostat at a hardware store, just hook your light up to it, set it for temperature and your off. I'm sure some fellow at the store can help when you explain what your doing. Hope this helped ~ BCbuddy

your talking to the right person i have many many reptiles but i never say that but i'll look it up if you have a site please post it up for me if you don't mind thanks alot
