    Please explain your term of central air. Do u have a csealed room? Do you have a air handler? Do you have supply registers in the room? What are u wanting to exhaust, the whole room or just lights? Sounds like a heater with a blower?

    no my room is not sealed i have a carbon scrubber and want to vent outside but didnt really want to cut a hole in the house. then i noticed my house has a 8inch intake and exhaust that my central air uses so i thought to myself that i would use the same hole just put a Y or T or what ever

    shouldnt be a problem, although it may just come right back into the house depending on where your 8 inch port goes

    if your venting into the exhaust... could there be a danger of snuffing out a pilot flame?
