Whens the best time to run my sulpher burner?

Noone uses these? ...sulpher burner? ....really?

Well Ive seen episodes of the urban grower where the guy visits different grows and sometimes discusses the sulfur burners. He said they are used to ward off fungus growth like powdery mildew. I'm sure it doesn't matter if you use it in the day period vs the night. Its probably a good idea to use it sparingly at first, depending on the mold development.

....any sulpher burner users up?

mine comes on for 15 mins everyday while the lights are off. i keep an oscillating fan going but the exhaust fan is off while the burner is burning. the exhaust kicks on about half an hour after the burner goes off.

I'm running Co2 and do not have an exaust that exits air. I'm running an a/c with an airtight room. I've ran fresh air as yourself for years and never had a powdery mildew issue arise. I'm now in an airtight room and the whole mildew thing is something I want to take a major caution towards. I'm mostly concerned if I should be running it more often, but yet afraid to over due it. I haven't had any powdery mildew issues thus far while only burning it for 30 minutes x3 (1-1/2 total) while the lights are off. Any opinions on this vets?

i always had powdery mildew. my last two runs i have used the sulphur burner with very successful results. i have mine on a timer. it comes on just long enough to start vaporizing. about 15 mins. one little "puff" a day keeps the mildew away.

i use mine as maintanance once a week foe 30 mins and if theres signs of powdery mildew then twice a week for 45 mins. never run when lights are on wait at least 1 hour after lights out, then try to vent it out after a hour or so or setting in there.
