3x3 Tent Grow, What Light?

So my question is do I go with a 400 or 600 HPS? Am I gonna gain that much more in my tent with the number of plants that I am growing to justify the extra cost?

I was also thinking about keeping the shop lights in the tent once I go over to flowering, along with the HPS, for side lighting. If I do that can I stay with the 6500k bulbs or should I switch temp to match the HPS???

your grow area will need between 40-60watts a sq ft. 40w*9sq'=360watts minimum. 60w*9sq'=540watts. i have a 4*3 grow area and run 2 400 watt lamps. as far as the shop light. look for a bulb that has "warm white" or warm in its name. that means its giving off more red light.

So I will probably go with a 400 and some floro's on this one and then add another light for maybe my second or 3rd grow, cool thanks for the help.
