Long time lurker... first time poster

So im in my first year of university, and wanting to use my hydroponic equipment to grow in my room. So I came up with these plans for the massive wardrobe in my room.



The wardrobe is about 2.5 ft deep, the main compartment is about 5 ft high, and the upper compartment is around 3 ft high (bigger than in the plan... oops)

My plan was to grow 4 Crimea Blue plants, then take cuttings from them and clone for flowering plants.

Thoughts and feedback? Possible ventilation ideas?

Dont be like that mdave... honestly if you are in a dorm room i wouldnt grow unless it is completely stealthy and you have a good carbon filter. just remember what your getting yourself into if the dorm managers do a random inspection and they look in a closet and see a wardobe in there then there rises suspicions. honestly if i had a wardobe then i would leave it in the open but have it completely stealth meaning no light escaping what so ever, no smells, and no noise or atleast very little noise. I am planning on doing a cabinet grow myself and am interested how this will turn out for you if you decide to do it.

Well the dorm managers are pretty lax here, as its a massive complex. They also cant check your room randomly and give 24hrs notice before a scheduled inspection, when I can transport everything to my friends dorm. It might sound awkward, but it would only be twice over the coming year max.

Not worth the risk. Your going to tell some one, then they are going to tell and before you know it the whole dorm is talking/wanting to look at your set up. then BAM you busted and fucked. Wait tell you get out of dorms.

What about a small 1-2 plant CFL grow, in the top compartment.

2 fems grown from seeds to harvest, without bothering with cloning etc? It'd just mean buying new seeds everytime i wanted to grow, and watering myself.

no fuckin way dude, wait another year save money and plan. it will be worth it

honestly man i have to agree with everyone growing is one thing, but growing in a dorm with a lot of different people will end in tragedy. personally i would save to rent out or buy a nice house.
