Ok guys, I have been an outdoor guerilla grower all my life, but I am getting sick of it (bugs, neighbors, not being able to see the plants every day, etc.) so I'm deciding to take it indoors.

I only need enough to supply myself; I don't sell my buds. So I won't need anything big.

I'm also going to do this in my attic, which is very cool this time of the year. Heat won't be an issue. My attic is very wide open, and has a power outlet.

Can I grow it in the open, or do I have to make an enclosure? I need to make this as easy as possible because I am not going to tell the wife about it. She'll shit if she finds out.

Can you guys write out for me a short list of items to buy? I am also petrified of hydroponics----those threads spin my head with all the info you have to know. I'd like to go with dirt, especially if this is going to happen in my attic. I really only want 2-3 females. I plan on getting feminized seeds from Nirvana-perhaps short riders. Will a 400W HPS show up big on our light bill?

Also, do the cops have any kind of surveillance technology to detect a grow room?

I'm tired of going "dry" between outdoor seasons, so I'd like to give this a try.
