theres like 5-6 options .. you can go...prolly even more then that

From week 5 on during flowering, you will have a strong scent that is easily detected. It depends on how close your grow is to other people etc... as to whether you need one, it sure brings down stress level of someone finding it if you do have a filter. Ona gel and all those other masking type solutions, are only slightly helpful, you can still smell it... Good luck and happy growing ! Peace
