So I am going to partition off the middle of a room for my first grow. I am going to be using DWC and SCROG using 6 plants, and I cannot decide wether or not I want to use a 400w or 600w HPS.

Would it work to just duct tape the panda film to the ceiling and then let it hang down and tape it to a piece of wood or something on the floor? I plan on doing this for two walls of the room, and then the two original walls of the room will be covered in mylar sheeting.

Would this be best? Or should I make a PVC frame?

My main question would be then could I fan and vent to the outside room, or I was wondering if it would be best if i vented air out into the attic? Such as a carbon filter and things like that?

Also should I just do one room instead of two sep? If i had two sep rooms I would veg with t5 fluorescent bulbs and CFLS. If single i would just use the HPS. Which would be better, I would kind of prefer one room the more I think about it.

EDIT: I am not sure about the exact size of the room, but I believe total its 12' x 13' or something around there so Id plan on using probably about 5 feet one way and then the width of the room.

A few things to keep in mind, How often do you want to produce for example how much and how many times a year. If this is your first go expect a .5g/watt ratio so about 300 grams for a 3-5 month grow. If I were you I'd vent into the attic. As for taping your walls to the cieling you will have to do a very good job of this or your fans will pull it down, which could be catastrophic to a stealth grower. I personally would so do 2 tents so you could produce clones and such, which means less downtime. If anything I'd also recommend covering the whole tent in mylar, I know how expensive it can be but just a suggestion. Figure out what ur going to do about fans as well, also look into temperature control. Also look into humidity meters and EC and PPM meters if your doing Hydroponics.

That 300g, is 300g per plant correct? Also I was planning on possibly cloning, but to be honest, i was interested in getting a few new strains.

Also I planned on venting to the attic, just wanted to make sure that would be a good idea. Could I also pull air in to cool if necessary since it is the winter?

Also I was planning on using distilled water, and getting a PPM meter. Could I get away with having either only a EC meter or only a PPM meter? Also is there any good value combo of either EC or PPM paired with pH?
