What cfm fans do plan to use? Is your light air cooled?

Default Venting
Depending on the size of your fans cfm ?? you might only need one for the light and you can use the other for the rooms intake.....

...... if not just buy a cheap fan for the intake and use the other two for the light

......or buy a new fan and us that for the light and use the other for the room

Put the intake on the bottom of the room

I only have 1 fan right now, it's an in-line 4", 80cfm fan. I'm not too familiar with fans and CFM, is that a lot? when I buy the next few should I buy bigger ones? i'd be willing to upgrade to 6" if you it's dubbed necessary...thanks for your input =)

That 4'' fan would be ok for your room intake (maybe) but for the light setup you need more ..... its going to cost you just to let you know ....... i dont know where you live but if you have a hydro store go buy a canfan or a nice big fan or check the web theres allot of different stores online. I hooked up two pc fans cost me about 60 bucks for 2 PC 4” fans 170cfm

Haha I was already thinking about a box for noise control =)

hmm, some of those fans are stupid expensive - there actually is a hydro store near me, i'll check out what they have...although I'm guessing the prices there aren't going to be any better. I think i'll incorporate the PC fan idea into the shelf in the middle so air can flow between the 2 halves..but im thinking 120v fans instead of 12v for simplicity.

So, I think what I'll do is get a squirrel fan or can-fan to cool the light, and either a 2nd one of equal power or slightly less for intake to the room. Build a box for both to lessen the noise, and uhh...call it a day. That should do it I guess =)

Thanks guys, you've been a huge help with the brainstorming
