See what you all think of that closet. One thing I came across though is I think that center piece is seperating the two chambers. The top is no big deal if it is fixed because I can put mothers up there. or clones or whatever, and still make it light tight.

What do you all think it will require for lighting?

I am thinking 1000W hps in there. Maybe just on one side, and use the other side as a dark room to vent the air out of, and to pull fresh air in.

Dont fuck with that. If you put 1000 watt hps you'll burn your fucking house down. Go to a home depot and get a metal or wood storage shed that locks. I got a 250 watt HPS for it. That type of area is too fucking small to put a 450 or 1000!

After thinking about it for a few I realize it is way way way to small. So I am going to use something else. I have the closet already so I am not going to go waste money on a storage shed. This cabinet can work perfectly with a bit of thought. I am thinking 150 or 250W HPS. Where Can I buy HPS that small? Anybody have an idea of good sites?

Buy the wood... and build a closet to the size you need even a bit bigger

I am a definite diy'er but if you are not.... I did notice big lots had a storage closet about 5 feet high maybe 3 feet wide and 1.5-2 feet deep- it also has a place to put a lock on it. If modded right it would definitely look low profile as like a storage area for tools and whatnot. It was about $70-$80

I am going to stick with the closet because I already have it!
Scope the dimensions. It could be used for veg on top, and flowering on one side below. Because that board in the middle is fixed. Realize that.

Light leaks can be taken care of. That is why it would be better to veg on top, more light tight, and can be created entirely light tight.

So I essentially have almost 14" across by 16" Deep, by 72" High.

New suggestions? This works out to be about a foot and a half of canopy space, I think.??

The shelves will act as a place to lower or raise the plants if needed. I think it can be the ideal stealth grow for someone.

What light requirements will need to be met? Think, around tottal of 15,000 Lumens which would give just around 10K for my 1.5sq foot area.

make sure to waterproof the bottom of the cabinet, made that mistake with the same cabinet and wow, it collapsed under the weight of the plants.
