i am wondering if anyone has experience in growing cannabis in a dorm room, or any other small rooms. any information would be very helpful.

you are begging to get your dorm raided when some kid gets busted and spills the beans. you're in a dorm don't you have much better things to be doing? plus there is pot everywhere on college campuses already. you don't even need to buy it to smoke bro.

Nah. It can be done, but you need to make sure NOBODY knows about it. Absolutely nobody. If you are not sure if your roommate is cool with that sort of thing, don't even try. Also, make sure you keep a low profile, no parties , no loud noises, keep the friends away if possible. Grow in a concealed area, a closed closet door, or even better, a box under a bed. CFL's are going to be the only way you can get away with growing in a dorm, so read up on them and get 4-8 larger CFL's on the plants.

Oh ya, flowering time in the dorm hall....Unless you plan on using top notch equipment and high end auto flowering seeds, 95% of the plants you grow from seed are going to stretch a minimum of 3 feet tall from the top of the soil to the top of the plant, most plants reaching 4-6 feet or even taller.

If you happen get all the way through veg cycle and start flowering and nobody has still seen it, about 3-4 weeks into flowering the stench alone will get you busted...but I say do it, because I always like a good laugh. See ya in the Funnies!
