Ok Everybody. Food for thought for all of you. This one is a bit unusual in shape, but I am thinking something could be done. So let's get our minds rolling, put together, and come up with something for this nifty little drum.

Come on people! I know you all have ideas runnin' through your heads like crazy! I realize its harder to explain an idea without actually having the container to see and get a feel for. But seriously peeps... Toss in some ideas!
My notion was fluoros, but given the fact the container is less than 4ft tall, that kind of bums me out. Is there good H.O. in 32" or so?

Lemme know! All ears on this one!

barrel
pump
6mil painter's tarp used as liner
schedule 40 or 80 pvc
360 degree sprayers
light of your choice
round osb board to hold plants
rope and nails to hold board in place from top
netted pots
neoprene collars

possible alternative:

reverse flood and drain
suspend plant osb board on metal cord attached to pulleys and a motor on a timer to immerse in water then back up

That barrel of green is crazy cool! That is a smart set up. Seems that they could still do some refining. A lot of space is being wasted, but nontheless it is a great idea. I have moved past the barrel idea and have ordered a closet that i am going to make work, one stop setup.

Those are my dimensions. I think that it is split in half though, I am not sure. Might be a good way to do experiments on different types of lights. or cfl vs. hps. or something.
