Hi guys.....

just need some help as i have a DR40 Grow tent, its measurements are

40cm W x 40cm L x 120cm H

im not sure weather to get a HPS (100/150w) or a envirolite CFL (125/250w)

my biggest problem i face is the fact that its only a small grow tent and its hard to find any reflectors that would actually fit inside...

ive found 1 reflector but its 10cm out of my limits. ITS HERE...

(i could customize this reflector by cutting a bit of length off..)

im also looking to get a budget carbon filter for the smell and air flow as ino its a small tent so the heat would be a problem...

I'm a little poor at the moment lol.... so im looking just for cheap budget items..

hey man, know im new to this forum but have a bit of xp, ive got a dr60 running 150w cfl for veg and 250w cfl + 4 x 36w 4ft fluro tubes at each corner for flower, seems to do the trick, how many plants u planin on? i strugle with 5. gettin a larger hood and cutting it to size is a good plan, standard size reflector only just fits my tent! also got a buget carbon filter from progrow.co.uk, not that gud! if you can vent out of a window ( depends on ur situation i ges) aswell or instead of wud be advised as they dont ged rid of smell mearly reduce it. i use ona gel from the same site also helps and oust odour stop auto dispenser (asda) £9.99 aswell. what nutes, soil u gona use? i grow organic, biobizz all the way! biogrow, biobloom and topmax with lightmix soil for veg and allmix after repot for flower, again from progrow, best to order as much as u can in 1 order to save cost on postage, also add mollasses for flower. just my two cents let us know what you decide.

also dont try and cut costs with soil and nutes by usein miracle grow! its not gud! you will get bigger buds if u use proper stuff specialised for what u are growing! a ph meter is helpful too.

forgot to say, i use a 4" bathroom fan for cooling, wud think a gud quality pc fan wud be enuf for ur tent, was using one for a bit but got a bathroom fan including ducting for 15 notes from screwfix.co.uk, much better for humidity. is a bit louder tho. you can get a charger adapter from asda or anywhere to power the pc fan for £5 which has 6 different voltage settings which u can use to adjust the speed of the pc fan for temp control, also helps if noise is a problem!
