First Grow Indoor setup, let me know if I'm at least on track!

Hey everyone!

This will be my first grow and after researching and reading hours upon hours of information on this forum (which has been really helpful) I've purchased the equipment, set it up and would like to know what you think/ ask a couple questions.

My setup is in a closet 2 feet deep, 4' 10" wide and 7 feet tall. I have setup a home made hydro system (drip), covered the walls in mylar, have a variable power fan, home made CO2 supplements, rockwool cubes, clay aggregate, temp. and humidity meter, timers, and a ph test and control kit. I decided to vegetate with cfl and flower hps. I made a reflector (from the diy section) and have 6 47w energy star cfls. I will be purchasing a 400w hps soon. I do not have nutrients yet and i have no exhaust but feel that simply opening the closet every so often will be fine since I am home often.

Some questions:
1. With these lighting conditions, how many plants should I attempt to grow? I have opted to purchase fem. seeds so how many i germ is how many i get. I am growing for personal use so I would prefer quality over quanity for the yield but being able to sell a little to cover utilities would be nice.
2. Has anyone worked with drchronic.com for seeds?
3. Is there anything else I should get to ensure a successful grow?

Man it looks like your off to a good start.
When you get a 400w MH/HPS you will need more ventilation...(damn things put out alot of heat) I have 2 small fans in a 2x4 hydrohut and a large one outside. I just got my 265cfm air mover inn and i am waiting for my 24" cooltube for it. Right now i have to leave one side of the hut unzipped to let out the heat..

sounds good man. if i were u i would either go with just 2 plants and top and train them, or u could maybe fit 6-8 plants in there sog style and do some perpetual harvest and get a steady supply. i went the topping and training way this time but it just takes sooo long lol. with my next grow im gonna be setting up a sog method with a 2 week rotation. 8 plants in flower, so i would be harvesting 2 plants every 2 weeks.

well height really isnt a problem, its a full size 7 foot closet, its the width that im worried about. i could do 4 full size plants in a single row with now problem but would 6 47w cfls be enough to vegetate plants to at least 1.5 feet?

oh yeah thats plenty. right now because all my lights are tied up in the flower room, i have 2 plants vegging under just 1 23watt cfl and they are both almost a 1.5 ft now after about a month and half. one from seed and one a clone. so with that much light u could prolly hit 1.5ft in less than a month
