Grow Tents!

Hey guys I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread about Grow tent discussion. What are some good ones out there and how are you guys rigging them up?(example: 3 x 3 x 6 tent with a 400w hps, 260cfm fan, Carbon filter, ect) Are you getting good results? What materials is your tent made of? Are you happy? Post up your tents and show the world there power! Let's have a grow tent discussion so everyone can be better informed about quality tents vs poor quality tents.

I will soon post mine when I decide witch one I want. I am probably going to go with the Everest Grow lab GL120 3'11 x 3' 11 x 6'7. Another option I am considering is an ebay listing for about half the price of the Grow lab. It still has reflective material, but I question weather its a quality product or not.

That is the brand of tent you want. It has all the bugs worked out you wont be disappointed. Go with can-fan 9000 Carbon filter at the minimum, and get your self an inline exhaust fan. Get a couple of clip on fans and you should be set.

one thing I will warn you about is heat evacuation. When you use HD lamps its a real bitch to keep them at low temps. Air cooled hoods are an absolute must, and or a/c. The tent I purchased from HTG is a cheap piece of shit. Plastic corner pieces that break easy and it wasn't very sturdy. Just dont skimp on inline fans or youll regret it.

I was thinking about one of those, I love it from the simplicity standpoint. I just wish they didn't look so much like a grow tent.

Dont build your own. It only gets complicated. Purchase one like you have pictured. I have tried building my own and modifiying linen closet deals and nothing has worked out well. I have ended up purchasing large cabinents for near the price of a decent tent

How does the grow lab compare to the hydrohut silver (the one that doesn't kill plants)???

The grow lab is the latest tent out, and have the best materials. I did a lot of research. You wont be disappointed with the Grow Lab, the neswest model. The newest one has two windows on the front.

You will be able to run a 400 HPS in the 33''x33'' with just a carbon filter pulling the air out. Shouldnt need a air cooled hood, all though they are the best to buy regardless because you get the safty glass, just my opionion. Give you the cababilty to air cool the hood later.

I purchased 2 tents,and now only use them as veg/clone rooms.I rather make my own grow rooms/area with a wooden frame and panda film.

Yes I tried buidling my own one time, and It didn't turn out very well. I'm just not gonna mess around and just get the grow lab. I will probably pick it up in the next few days along with a 6 inch inline fan. Im going to run a 400w in it for now(3' 11" x 3' 11") but I will eventually run a 600w. thats why im getting the 6 inch inline.
